
From 0 to 10 km (101 kg to 91 kg): A 9-Month Journey of Transformation of Krunal.
Nine months ago, I embarked on a journey that completely changed my life. At 101kg, I knew I needed a change—not just for appearance, but for my health and confidence. With the guidance of my coach @pragneshrunner at @runride2fit, I committed to a structured routine of training, running, cycling, recovery, nutritiion and strength workouts.
The Strategy
Customized Training Plan: My coach tailored a mix of cardio and strength training to suit my fitness level and gradually build endurance.
Running & Cycling: I started with short distances and increased intensity and mileage over time, which significantly improved my stamina.
Strength Training: Focused on compound exercises to build muscle, boost metabolism, and avoid plateaus.
Consistency Over Perfection: Some days were tough, but staying consistent made all the difference.
The Results
In nine months, I have completed 10km Running @ 5:55 min/km, which i have never thought of intitially, when i started up as it was around 7:45 min/km pace. In this process, I also lost 10kg and gained much more than I could have imagined: confidence, strength, and a love for fitness. This journey wasn’t just about weight loss—it was about transforming my mindset and lifestyle.
